Birthdays, summer block parties, Halloween, New Year's Eve, singles' mixers. The possibilities are endless.
Do people need time to prepare for the party?
Yes. It is best to send out the character descriptions a week or two before the party. This is not one of those parties where everyone reads their lines from a brochure. This is an interactive event where the guests bring their characters to life. The more time allowed for creating those characters, the better the party.
What if, at the last minute, someone is unable to come to the party?
We provide you with alternate solutions to ensure that you're covered if that should happen.
How can I be sure that the party will be a success?
The success of a murder mystery party depends on the quality of the character sketches and whether your guests can have fun bringing the characters to life. We feel that our characters are exceptional. That is why we posted two of them on this site. We urge you to compare our characters to any of our competitors.
No one can guarantee that a party will be a success, but we think your friends will have a lot of fun bringing this crazy group of characters to life.
Most murder mystery parties are only set up for eight people, but I have more friends who would like to participate.

  What is the ratio of male to female characters?
  The male to female ratio in all of our mysteries is 50:50 although each mystery has 2-3 characters which can be played by a male or female by making a few minor adaptations.
  Why don’t your murder mystery parties have story lines or themes like a seventies disco party or a western hootenanny?
  Other murder mystery parties have themes because they are designed so that everyone at the party simply reads a story from pamphlets (about a victim who isn't there and a murder that doesn't take place at the party). That isn’t our idea of a party! Our mysteries are interactive and there is no reading at our parties. It is a very different kind of experience because our characters are actively involved in creating the dialogue and events that make the mystery unfold. While our mysteries are carefully designed and structured, the innovative concept still allows for a great deal of creativity.

We pride ourselves on well defined, colorful characters with personality. It would be impossible for our characters to all dress for the same theme because they need to express their individuality.
